Jordans & Ryvita merged in 2008 under the joint ownership of Associated British Foods and the Jordan family. Paul Murphy who previously headed up Twinings in the UK, North America and Australia has been appointed CEO with a brief to achieve ambitious growth targets. An International Director is sought to join the Board to accelerate the growth of the existing markets in Western Europe, North America, US and Australia.

The Role:

• Develop with the CEO an international vision and growth strategy for the priority markets and assume brand and market P&L budget accountability.

• Devise and implement strategies including brand positioning and RTM initiatives to leverage the brands against specific market opportunity.

• Provide inspirational leadership to a high performing team, to distributors and other strategic alliance partners in order to maximise growth potential.

The Candidate:

• Substantial experience in originating profitable growth of FMCG brands in first world international markets. Functional experience in both marketing and sales preferred.

• Has managed complexity i.e. multiple brands in different market environments and is an experienced manager of third parties and distributors and a skilled negotiator of intricate international contracts.

• Outstanding leadership credentials are required as well as an alignment with the Jordans and Ryvita values. Influencing skills are essential as is the ability to provide effective and inspiring leadership.
