The East Midlands Regional Platform for Food, Physical Activity and Health are looking for a Director of Stakeholder Engagement to engage with private sector organisations within the region. The platform is the first European Regional Health Alliance working with business to improve the well being of local communities, to address levels of Obesity.

As Director of Stakeholder Engagement, it will be your responsibility to secure commitment from private sector organisations from within the region to the platform. These commitments will require a pledge to take action in relation to Obesity. This will initially involve identifying relevant companies and organisations, forging new relationships and creating a regional network of contacts. This role will be pivotal to halting the rising tide of obesity in the East Midlands.

The successful applicant will be expected to provide 50 focused days of work and be required to work across the East Midlands. You will identify, meet and mentor organisations to develop their contributions to the platform. Candidates will need to work on a freelance basis and make their own arrangements for tax contributions.
