Our client is a leading provider in its field of software and associated services to the Local Government market and is part of a nationally recognised group. It provides a modular product and support and consultancy services that help local authorities attain greater efficiency of service and achieve targets set by government. It now seeks a new Managing Director to offer new leadership and drive further growth in its offering and market share.

The new MD will be an experienced business leader with a blend of commercial and operational skills. It is essential that this will have been gained in a business providing a similar software and support services offering into the Local Government market in the UK.

A focussed and clear leadership style is sought, encouraging and assisting the management team to achieve business aims while providing leadership and clarity and taking ultimate responsibility for quality and processes. You will be expected to have excellent client facing skills, knowing when to accept client demands and when to be more robust. You will also recognise the need for clear performance and financial reporting to group.
