Cubic Transportation Systems Ltd (CTSL) is a global specialist in transportation ticketing and revenue collection systems. One of CTSL’s major achievements has been the hugely successful TfL Oyster Card system in London. We now have an opening for a Business Development Director to lead our continued expansion in the UK and Ireland and ensure that CTSL remains the world’s leading turnkey solution provider of automated fare collection systems for public transport.

The Role:

• Reporting to the Managing Director you will be integral in providing strategic direction to the organisation, developing mutually beneficial long-term relationships with customers and prospects.

• You will build commercially fruitful relationships with key authorities to secure both existing and future business and to grow CTSL’s UK profitability.

• As well as being proactive in business development, you will manage the UK sales and bid management teams leading them to achieve the strategic and operational objectives of CTSL.

The Candidate:

• With exceptional communication and excellent team working skills you will lead your team to acquire and develop relationships with existing and new customers.

• You will use these skills and prior experience to successfully manage customer relationships and negotiations on £50 million plus multi-stake holder, complex contracts.

• As a commercially astute individual you will have a dedication to customer focus, be a self-starter with the ability to motivate others and have strong time management skills.
