A good level of business and commercial understanding is required and operational HR experience is essential. The successful candidate must ensure that all plans and actions are carried out within the legislative framework and guidelines that are current at the time.
An ability to both participate in and lead business change is necessary, such that the HR department proactively assists business growth and evolution whilst mitigating risk from external or internal claims and exposure to unfair and inconsistent application of process and policy. The ability to drive people strategy in conjunction with business goals and objectives is paramount for the successful candidate.
The role requires a high level of flexibility and mobility in terms of working hours and geographic location both in the UK and Globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Proven experience of Project Management of HR initiatives and strategies.
Crafting of Business and People solutions.
Support and development of the HR team.
External analysis.
Annual roll-out of Performance Management, Promotion and Pay Planning processes.
Knowledgeable and able to run all HR elements of TUPE projects.
Ability to deal with complex disciplinary/grievance and HR issues through innovate and proactive decision making.
Forum/Union - own Forum/Union relationships on behalf of the organisation.
Responsibility for the design and implementation of HR strategy.

Problem solving attitude, with an ability to influence.
Organised, self-motivated and proactive and a good team player.
Flexible approach to all aspects of the various roles within the HR team.
Must be very flexible, mobile and willing to travel as required.
