HR Officer

The successful individual will join the Outsourcing Human Resources (HR) team which plays an integral part in advising and supporting the Outsourcing business across the UK. This role will predominantly focus on providing HR Generalist support for approximately 300 employees, to ensure effective and proactive case management across the business. Typical HR activities will include:

Provision of advice and guidance to delivery management on HR solutions, always promoting best practice

Management of Disciplinary and Grievance issues

Absence Management

Implementation of new HR policies/procedures

Management of small HR projects and initiatives

Involvement in the annual roll-out of Performance Management, Promotion and Pay Planning processes

Provision of HR related training to business leaders

Involvement in TUPE projects

The vacancy is based in our Aston office, but regular travel to other Company and Client sites will also be required.

What we’re looking for:

Strong proven experience in an HR generalist and operational role

Ability to prioritise and proactively manage multiple HR cases

Strong MS Office skills

Articulate and diplomatic communicator, sensitive to the need of a broad range of groups

Excellent written communication skills

Problem solving attitude, with an ability to influence

Flexible approach to all aspects of roles within the HR team

Ability and willingness to travel to other Company and Client sites on a regular basis

An excellent team player

Desirable: CIPD qualified or HR related degree
