This is a 12 month fixed term contract Client Account Associate (CAA) role supporting London Top Tier in the Embankment Place office.
Within this position you will be given the opportunity to focus on a small targeted portfolio of key clients and projects in Assurance delivering professional administrative support covering areas such as finance, project and research work. Because you will be working on a defined portfolio of between 2-5 clients you will have a lot of client exposure and the opportunity to develop long term client relationships and impact on the work. This is a CAA role with the scope for development. The ideal applicant will carry out the role while further defining and adding value to the process. The role will suit natural organisers and self starters. You will need to have confidence and rapport to deal with all kinds of people and fit into a professional team environment. You will be working within a BU with over 20 other CAA and as such there is a great peer support structure in place and a wide social network,

- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent, including GCSE Maths and English at grade C and above.
- Prior work experience (ideally from an administrative/analytical background from within a corporate/professional services environment), and with experience of analysing financial or statistical data.
- Proven IT skills in Word, PowerPoint, and particularly Excel.
- Numerate and analytical, comfortable with numbers, takes pride in delivering accurate and thorough work.
- Good time management and organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise a workload.
- Proven reliability in customer service and problem solving skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated and able to take responsibility for own work under own initiative.
- Able to work to deadlines, and flexible with regard to hours (overtime may be required) as priorities may change at short notice.
- Team player, able to communicate confidently and professionally with people at all levels, and build relationships with staff and clients.
- Works for large client teams often across multiple territories to deliver first class audit support and consistently striving to add value.
- Proactively monitors costs and expenses relating to assignments, preparing bills and chasing debts through use of GFS.
- Provides regular budget updates, analysing discrepancies and suggesting solutions to problems encountered.
- Coordinating deliverables for multiple reporting entities on large engagements.
- Coordinates team and client meetings.
- Confidently manages and coordinates upwards.
- Manages client documents effectively and to regulatory standard.
- Proactively supports the preparation, manages the updates and monitoring of project plans.
- Anticipates the needs of team members and provides solutions and support where required, including sharing across teams and driving innovative ideas.
- Able to use and teach others areas of GFS.
- Drives to be the ‘go to person’ on the team and within the community regarding various technical and non technical support areas.
- Maintains professional working relationships with other team members, support staff, client staff, and wider network.
- Shows interest in related industry of clients to increase own knowledge and provide effective client service.
