Business Development Manager

Our client is a leading Healthcare services company, owned and operated by a FTSE 100 business. They work for a number of blue-chip businesses & large public sector organisations, by delivering on promises, aiming for service delivery excellence and looking for ways to develop their people and foster entrepreneurialism.

The requirement is for a Business Development Manager who will report to the Business Development Director. We are seeking an individual who will proactively seek and build relationships with prospective clients in the chosen markets and lead formalise tender / bid processes.

Your role will entail:

• Introducing new business, industry networking and outbound marketing

• Delivering sales presentations

• Lead and write (with the support of the National Bid Manager) formalised tenders and bids

• Negotiate, close and oversee the legal contract signing process (with the support of the Legal Manager)

• Support the Account Management team in the re-tender or upselling process.

Educated to degree standard, you will have proven track record with at least 2 years business to business sales experience. You will also have a strong working knowledge of bid writing and tender experience, must be outgoing, enegetic and have a ‘can do’ attitude.

This is a London based position with an attractive range of benefits including bonus scheme, car allowance, and real career development prospects. The company is offering a basic salary of £38K - £45K with a realistic OTE of circa £70K - £80K.
