CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

My UK based international client is a fast growing, high profile independent company whose sole business is the creation and management of index benchmarks and associated data services.

Their mission is to provide investment professionals globally with the best index solutions, with the objective of becoming the world’s leading index provider. Working in London and reporting directly to the CIO/COO, the key function of this role initially is to lead the development and QA functions to ensure their quality and productivity. The establishment of appropriate governance standards is a core requirement of this role. Within 6 months the selected candidate will also be expected to lead the complete development lifecycle including the architecture/business analyst functions. The ideal candidate for this role will be an accomplished CTO or CTA in a real-time Financial/Information business. You will have experience of transforming tactical grown development environments into strategically aligned centres of excellence. You must have experience from a financial trading or similar environment.
