Lead Relationship Manager
We are seeking a Lead Relationship Manager within the Stakeholder Management Team to take responsibility for managing the relationships & ensuring contractual commitments are delivered with Business Link Operators, Regional Contacts, Devolved Administrations, Business Partner Channels and where appropriate, Business Representative Bodies.
A strong networker, with the ability to manage relationships at senior levels; you will help define the strategy for how we work with Business Links, Devolved Administrations and other business partners. This is a fast paced role requiring a solid grasp of commercial reality, the ability to see the big picture, and think outside of the box. You will need to deliver work that is on deadline and "right first time".
Role Requirements:
* Lead and ensure a consistent and high-quality approach to engagement and delivery across the LSD (Local Site Development) team
* Discover relevant stakeholders according to the engagement strategy
* Report engagement on a weekly basis
* Provide senior stakeholder briefings in a timely manner
* First point of contact and relationship manager for Business Links, RDAs, Devolved Administrations and Business Partners
* Ensure that LSD sites do not compromise the reputation and brand values of Business Link and programme content.
* Contribute on behalf of Business Links and Devolved administrations to strategic road map planning.
* Plan specific deliverables for the following financial year within the annual business plan; and manage these deliverables through to completion.
* Manage the P&L for the function including planning, budgeting & reporting
* Commission clear and detailed propositions for new tools and services
* Contribute as appropriate to the development of process and principle documents either personally or by drawing in interested parties as appropriate
* Convenes twice-annual LSD forums and issues monthly LSD newsletter and internal performance report
* Ensures appropriate contracts are in place and undertakes service reviews.
* Leads or works with business development teams on submissions for new business or extensions of scope.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Substantial line management experience
* Substantial experience of managing multiple, varied and conflicting stakeholders both within organizations and across financially separate organizations
* Experience of business problem solving
* Experience of shaping user propositions
* Fair understanding of website construction and e-marketing principles: search, information architecture, content management systems.
* Good understanding of how websites are structured, and how user journeys can be measured.
* Knowledge of how government works and potential agendas an advantage.
* Demonstrable ability to explain complex concepts in simple, practical language
* Relevant degree is desirable
