A profitable and expanding global business, our client now wishes to appoint an experienced compressor blade specialist to act as technical lead on range of gas turbine design and development projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for leading projects focussed on delivering continuous improvement and new concepts relating to compressor components, principally blades, overseeing and executing design and development programmes from initial investigation stage, through calculation and analysis, to design, production layout and prototype manufacture.

The Person

Successful candidates are likely to possess:

• A background in gas turbine compressor component development.

• Experience of aerodynamic and mechanical analysis.

• Track record of delivering innovative concepts, and seeing them through to successful project application

• Ability to lead and direct technical projects.

• Qualification at degree level (or equivalent knowledge gained though experience) in mechanical or aeronautical engineering, or related discipline.
