When you merge the financial services arm of one of the world’s largest consumer co-operatives with the UK’s second biggest building society, the result was always certain to be something rather special.
So special, in fact, that the merger between Co-operative Financial Services and the Britannia Group has created the opportunity to make a real difference for consumers in the financial services market place. You will lead the way in leveraging the advantages of being part of the Co-operative Group, build on the long and valuable histories of the brands in our portfolio and define membership and branding strategies for the new, combined business.
This exciting, high profile role offers the opportunity to contribute to shaping the future direction of the business. Setting an innovative strategy for membership marketing and driving through the processes which ensure it greatly enhances customer loyalty are high priorities. Your challenge will be to influence the entire organisation to ensure that the overall positioning and unique proposition are delivered to all our customers, at every touch point.
Put simply, your brief will be to establish the newly merged business as the premier challenger brand. This means you’re going to need to be a highly strategic marketer as well as a dynamic business leader. Your track record will include world-class experience of membership marketing and brand integration gained within market-leading, consumer-driven environments.
