To deliver our commitment to knowledge transfer and research impact we’re expanding our 17 person Commercial Services team with 3 key appointments:

Business Engagement & Partnerships Manager Ref: 42948

Starting salary in the range £36,532 to £43,622(potential progression on performance once in post to £49,096)

You will lead a small team coordinating the University’s efforts to engage with large companies, the public sector and SMEs in order to maximise opportunities for generating income and impact from our world class research. Working to support our colleges in developing strategic partnerships this is a critical role requiring credibility with senior industry and academic staff, exceptional influencing skills and determination. You will have a track record in a business development role and the ability to work in partnerships at a strategic level, to identify commercialisation opportunities and to make them happen.
