Our client is a niche care provider that has enjoyed both exceptional growth and delivered outstanding service. Over the past 12 years, they have become synonymous with integrity of purpose, coupled with financial acumen. They now seek to evolve the leadership from the founders and take the business on to the next stage by appointing a proactive CEO who can ultimately realise shareholder value in a sensible timescale.

The role centres around leadership - taking on the baton of operational excellence (without compromise), whilst maintaining the financially astute, conservative, but enterprising approach that has succeeded to date. Key areas are therefore quality, demand management, growing top and bottom lines (whilst imbedding value in the balance sheet) plus further developing the unique culture and the people through sweating the assets to optimize return for all stakeholders. The focus is for controlled organic and acquisitive growth. The need is to take all parties forward without eroding their ethos and service proposition in the process.

Capability is more important than qualification. You are a proven, entrepreneurial CEO from the service sector. Care sector experience is obviously advantageous. You may have worked in the private equity, owner-proprietorial, or corporate domains, but you have delivered rounded growth, at the sharp-end, and are credible in either the City or VC world. Whilst you are socially responsible and are values-driven you have successfully generated a growth in shareholder value - and now you want to do it again and participate in the proceeds yourself. A tall order? Yes, but we only want one person!
