The Client is a leading name and manufacturer of heating, ventilation, showering, hot water products and low carbon solutions. They have a wealth of very strong brands, are of significant size and scale and are highly successful in the UK marketplace. They sell to private and public sector organisations specifying building solutions from its broad range of brands and offer its clients significant economies and an integrated approach to satisfying their technical requirements.

The requirement is for a Business Development Manager who will report to the Head of Business Development and focus on developing new customers primarily in the commercial sector, adopting solutions based selling approach in order to achieve the agreed target. The client is looking for significant new business wins which generates in excess of £500,000 per annum. The routes to market are many and varied, direct and through third parties and the products are specified and won on a proposal / tender basis, often with building regulation and energy efficiency technical aspects.

Educated to degree standard, you will have developed an impressive sales career within the bespoke air handling unit market. You will also have a strong working knowledge of the building contacting marketplace. You will have and enthusiasm for new business and enjoy the autonomy that such a role offers.
