Detica’s electronic engineering team creates the hardware, firmware and embedded software to deliver leading edge and bespoke solutions to our clients. Areas of activity include: FPGAs; signal processing; high-speed PCB design; hardware-accelerated computing; analogue electronics and embedded systems.

As a graduate engineer, you’ll take on very early responsibility and will work on a range of areas, contributing to all phases of the project lifecycle.

Our projects turn around quickly, typically in a matter of months, meaning a fast moving environment and one in which you’ll get to see the results of your input. Your project performance and contribution will be measured on a weekly basis, not monthly.

Our approach is to draw small teams together to solve engineering challenges, so you can be assured of constant variety from project to project.

With your performance reviewed twice a year, you’ll benefit from the same career development structures expected of a consultancy. We reward performance, rather than years of employment, which is why many of our graduate engineers are managing teams, projects and budgets within a couple of years of joining us.

Your performance will be formally reviewed twice a year.
