The ACCA Qualification

In order to qualify as an ACCA member, you will complete:

• 14 exams (nine of which are eligible for exemption) 
• relevant practical experience, with a minimum of three years 
• a Professional Ethics module.

The breadth and depth of the ACCA Qualification means that you develop the fundamental knowledge to work across all sectors before specialising on the core technical skills necessary for your role.
 
The fundamentals level covers the core areas of financial and management accounting, plus the main technical areas that any accountant will need to master. The professional level builds on this and explores more advanced professional skills, techniques and values. The options modules give you the change to further develop specialist skills relevant to the areas of accountancy that interest you.
