Our client is an industry leader, winning awards both within bookselling and in the wider world of UK business. Their name has become synonymous with the best in British publishing and is instantly recognised by potential customers throughout the country. They are now looking to recruit a Bookseller / Book Distributor on a self employed basis.

This unique opportunity allows individuals to run their own local bookselling business. It's a full time, self employed challenge, but with one significant difference: no upfront cash investment is required.

You simply pay for the stock as it is sold to your customers, making this a truly cash-positive business from day one, with low overheads and great potential for profit. An extensive one day training course will also be provided, as will ongoing support from an experienced Field Manager, who'll be on hand to keep you up-to-date and guide you.

As a Bookseller / Book Distributor you will be supported from behind the scenes by the industry's most experienced buying team, who source the latest titles and observe key market trends. This allows you to devote your time to promoting and marketing the service you provide to the local working community, finding new customers and providing a great service to your existing ones.

Stock deliveries are made to your dedicated storage location each week, ensuring that you have sufficient quantities of books to meet market demand. And the headaches are removed from the task of accounting for your stock and sales by using the dedicated, bespoke management software they provide.

To be considered you must have:

- Experience in a customer-facing role
- A love of books
- A consistent employment history
- A willingness to get your hands dirty and assist with the manual parts of the job (lifting, driving etc)
- Excellent internet and organisational skills
