CONTRACTS SPECIALIST

Norman Broadbent’s Energy COE has been retained to source a new Contracts Specialist for a highly successful division of a well known and respected player in the North West.

The postholder will be highly instrumental in ddeveloping and implementing contracting strategies focused on driving best practice. You will collaborate with operations personnel to achieve the most effective use of company resources standardising documentation and automating processes to meet business requirements. In addition you will ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures and statutory requirements auditing suppliers where appropriate and improving contractor relationships. You will ensure best value for the business through conducting competitive tendering exercises, managing effective negotiations with the supply chain and adopting innovative contracting structures with key providers.

We seek a highly proactive individual with the aptitude and drive to take the company to the next level in contracting strategy. Consequently it is likely you will be Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) part or full qualified and have prior experience working in a safety critical industry. A results driven self-starter, you will command instant credibility and respect with internal customers, external stakeholders and the supply chain. It is imperative you have complimentary interpersonal and influencing skills.
