Regional Manager / Social Housing Manager (Housing, Anti-Social Behaviour, Estates Services)

East London

Salary circa 49,000 + Benefits

Our client is responsible for approximately 1,300 tenanted homes and 700 leasehold homes, located across four estates on the Isle of Dogs. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Manager to join them in order to ensure that Housing, ASB and Estates Services are provided to the highest standards.

You will lead and inspire a team of multi-disciplinary staff, enabling them to deliver consistent, responsive, cost-effective housing management services to our residents. You will also work with our client’s community investment team, tenant and resident associations to deliver the group's resident involvement framework. Taking the lead on continuous improvement within the region, you will be responsible for creating a strong team culture of performance and first class customer service.

Through outstanding leadership, you will ensure that individuals and teams are developed and continue to perform to the highest standards, and that we are able to meet their service improvement objectives. You will also promote positive relationships with residents and stakeholders and improve our client’s ground maintenance and caretaking services.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced manager with experience of managing senior officers, multiple teams and a background in housing and a track record of driving performance in key customer service areas. With experience of operating at an Area Manager level in a Social Housing setting, you will be able to demonstrate competency in managing diverse and multi-disciplined teams.

You will have experience in developing and delivering improvement plans and target and experience of the inspection regime including preparing or delivering Audit inspections action plans. Experience of managing and setting operational budgets is necessary. You will ideally be degree qualified, or hold a relevant professional qualification or be a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
