The person applying for the role of Head of Communications

must be passionate, forward thinking and push the boundaries of

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will ensure that the messages

you create reach the required stakeholder.As Head of Communications

you will create and execute strategies that see Welcome to Yorkshire

achieve its goal.

Candidates should be commercially astute, with experience in shaping

and leading strategic communications plans, preferably within both

the public and private sectors. You should have a successful history in

building and managing teams and be able to show evidence of

generating the best results whilst achieving best value.
