Bookkeeper

Our clients, an internationally established language school now require a Company Bookkeeper due to retirement. This is an excellent hands-on role, getting involved in all areas of accounting within the business and reporting directly into the MD. Applicants do not need to be professionally recognised though emphasis is on previous experience and ability to perform in the role. To be considered for this position you should have previous experience with Payroll, Bookkeeping and Balance Sheets. Typical duties will include maintaining the Purchase and Sales Ledgers, preparing monthly Management Accounts, Balance Sheets and Income & Expenditure through to Trial Balance, Completing VAT returns, Calculating and preparing the company payroll for employees on varying contract agreements and completing PAYE, P11, P60, P46, P45 and P35, performing bank reconciliations and making BACS payments.
