Systems Consultant (Graduate Trainee), AA (Automobile Association)

Starting Salary: £22,000

We are offering an exciting trainee scheme for people keen to specialise as Data Warehouse Developers at our Head Office in Basingstoke, Hampshire.  We will provide the opportunity for you to be involved in real business projects with an expertise building, tailored personal development plan. The project work will involve data modelling, implementing transformation rules, documentation and analysis using SAS toolsets.

There will also be a requirement to understand, test and verify the developments to ensure that they are still meeting agreed business requirements.  You will also learn how to provide troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to resolve problems when they arise.

This is an opportunity for a graduate with either a Scientific or Mathematics degree or a Computing/IT degree which has included modules in database analysis and design.  You will need to have a 2:2 result or better.

A key part of the job is working with business colleagues by providing support and problem solving expertise.  The ability to communicate effectively and influence people is very important.  We are looking for good team players who are keen to develop and learn specialist skills.
