BADAS (Bath Area Drugs Advisory Service) is a successful community organisation providing services to those who are in need of support for their own or someone else’s drinking or drug use. The organisation has a clear vision and a strong sense of purpose in achieving its goals.

They are currently undergoing a restructuring process within the business, linked to the strategic plan; this new position of Development Director is central to the core strategy of retaining their independence. This is a superb opportunity to spearhead the development of the contracts and service provision within the community, by creating an outcome focused culture.

The ideal candidate will have:

 Achieved success developing new and existing business

 Experience of working effectively within a political arena, providing clear and balanced guidance on the issues that affect the corporate and service objectives.

 Highly developed interpersonal skills and communication skills, with the ability to present at all levels

 The ability to translate national and local priorities into action plans, keeping abreast of potential social policy reforms and changes.

 Experience of working across organisational boundaries and delivering change through partnership working.

 An understanding of UK Drug and Alcohol Strategies and Social Policy reforms.
