Our client, CPA Global, is a renowned world-leader in the Intellectual Property and Outsourcing fields. The company, formed 40 years ago, provides a broad range of IP solutions to a diverse client base, from trade mark searching, watching and renewals, through to bespoke IP software and Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO).

CPA Global is currently entering an exciting phase in its development, with significant investment aimed at increasing its service offering to clients and expanding its client base. The company has ambitious targets to develop and increase its presence in key sectors.

CPA Global is currently divided into two geographical regions USA and EMEA/ROW This role is based out of the EMEA region and is one of the Key Senior Sales Manager positions reporting into the EMEA Sales Director (Board level)

As a result of continued and anticipated future growth, CPA Global now seeks to recruit a new Sales Manager to lead and manage a team across a wide geographical territory, encompassing Europe and beyond. The role will be based out of CPA Global’s London Office.

THE ROLE

• Full accountability for the management and development of the sales team, responsible for both new business and key named account management;

• Oversee the sales and marketing of the full suite of CPA’s services and solutions to the company’s clients, both existing and new;

• Actively work with other sales and marketing teams by way of ‘cross-selling’ and act as an ‘introducer’ to leverage and enhance client relationships;

• Define and implement future sales and marketing strategy, working in close collaboration with the Global Sales and Marketing team;

• Manage, train and develop the existing team in consultative selling;

• Be fully conversant with CRM (salesforce.com) and forecasting methodologies to be able to provide senior management current and future view of the market opportunities;

• Be skilled in the planning and execution of building account plans to enable penetration of key named accounts.

THE CANDIDATE

• Ideally a minimum of 5-10 years’ sales management experience, gained in a solution-based industry or environment;

• A proven track record of delivering change management within a sales-based environment;

A demonstrable track record of selling high-value solutions to senior level, which should include a degree of outsourcing (ideally Legal Process Outsourcing or Business Process Outsourcing);

• Proven international experience;

• Excellent people management skills, able to earn the respect of others to deliver enhanced performance and results;

• Highly client driven, focused on long-term relationship and gain;

• First-rate communication and presentation skills, with a corporate and professional approach;

• Confident, motivated and results-driven individual, with strong judgement skills;

• Experience of developing salespeople from Transactional to solution selling;

• Conversant with CRM’s and forecasting methodologies;

• Strong account planning experience.
