Group Sales and Marketing Director GSMD/277/12

Our client is a significant player in the food sector throughout the UK and Ireland. Expansion and correspondingly internal promotion has created the requirement for a Group Sales and Marketing Director.

The Position

- You will report to the Group chief executive and will lead the sales and marketing activity of the group, which is primarily focussed on chilled and ambient food.

- You will lead a team which is located in a multi-site basis and you will become involved in all key sales negotiations, whilst articulating all of the facts to the board, to ensure liaison with your operational colleagues.

- You will have substantial budget responsibility and you will be required to elevate the organisations image in the minds of the distributors and the consumer market.

The Person

- You will be a graduate and ideally have exposure to the finance elements of an organisation but above all you must have the ability to build a corporate image.

- You are likely to be from an fmcg background, where you can clearly demonstrate significant sales achievement, which have advanced an organisation, in terms of profit.
