Chair

The Partnership is a voluntary network of over 560 supply chain member organisations, involved in the delivery of energy efficiency and low carbon products and services to UK household consumers. Members collaborate on joint work programs to enable the delivery of the Government’s targets and goals, with the Partnership providing constructive challenge to all parties.

The role of Chair is to project the strengths of the Partnership network as a neutral space in which stakeholders work together to inform the practicality of Government policy initiatives and to address issues concerning delivery. Clearly, in order to do this the Chair needs to be a successful, high profile person with a strong personal network at government, civil service and industry level. She/he will be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge and interest in household energy efficiency, carbon saving and fuel poverty, coupled with the highest interpersonal and communication skills.

The position will be contracted for a three year term. Whilst the hours of work are at the discretion of the incumbent it is envisaged that the successful candidate will spend at least 6 days per month on Partnership activities.
