In this challenging, hands-on role, you’ll operate at the strategic centre of our organisation. Your focus will be on service improvement, driving a dynamic business planning cycle to ensure that we are using our resources in the right way and providing real benefits for Londoners in improving confidence and safety in policing London. Your work will directly impact in areas ranging from youth and knife crime through to transport, the London 2012 Games and business productivity.

Ideally, you’ll be a graduate or hold a professional qualification in public, business or financial management, or an appropriate analytical subject. Working knowledge of performance management, strategic business planning and process modelling will be essential, along with some experience of project management and financial planning. Experience in a large or complex environment would be useful, and an understanding of organisational change.
