Head of Compliance HC/159/22

Our client is a highly regarded financial institution within the Retail/Consumer sector. Re-organisation has given rise to the requirement for a Head of Compliance to manage a broad range of compliance disciplines, within this growing institution.

The Position

 You will advise the board on all compliance issues and manage the relationship with the FSA.

 You will lead a small but focussed team providing guidance on all aspects of product development and distribution channels.

 You will be responsible for anti money laundering processes and to this extent you will liaise strongly with the branch network and senior members of Head Office, on a number of subjects including business change management.

The Person

 You are likely to be in a senior position within a well recognised UK financial institution, where you can demonstrate key knowledge of compliance and related areas.

 You will have a background that includes a wide range of consumer products, including mortgages and savings.

 You will have competencies across financial services, which are up to date and you must have the ability to present succinct reports to the Board. It follows that a graduate education is required and ideally you should have a practising solicitors certificate.
