General Manager GM/159/22

Our client is a leading name in the leisure sector which is involved in all aspects of gaming, credit betting and telebetting focussing on wide range of activity including horse racing, retail outlets and casinos. Expansion has given rise for the appointment of a General Manager to co-ordinate all activities.

The Role

• You will report to the Group Managing Director and you will lead a small team with a remit to work across the organisation, streamlining operations, developing new income streams and where appropriate cutting costs.

• You will be responsible for a significant budget and you will be expected to engage with the heads of the various operating divisions in a constructive manner.

• You will be required to report to the main board on a regular basis and success in the role could lead to a director appointment.

The Requirement

• You will have a significant background within the leisure sector which will include the elements of gaming and exposure to the horse racing sector, where you can demonstrate success in the generation of new business opportunities and related operations.

• You will be skilled in the art of leadership and co-ordination, where you have streamlined and grown a large and diverse business, generating profits.

• You will be a graduate who enjoys high levels of commercial challenge and who wishes to achieve prominence within an exciting industry sector.
