Through a continuing process of expansion and internal promotion the opportunity has now arisen to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Engineering Manager for its strategically important site at Trafford Park, Manchester. This is an exciting, broad ranging and highly visible role, reporting directly to the Site Manager, giving you overall responsibility for driving improvements in the availability and efficiency of plant and processing equipment across the site and the leadership of a dedicated and highly capable Engineering and Maintenance team. In addition, you will be involved in the project management of significant and strategic capital expenditure projects and the budget control of a sizable engineering and maintenance budget.

Driven individuals with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to make things happen are required. You will be a qualified Electrical / Mechanical Engineer, either apprentice trained or educated to HNC level or higher. You will have experience of managing a Maintenance or Engineering team in a high speed continuous process manufacturing environment, ideally in the Food and Drink or broader FMCG sector.
