PROJECT DIRECTOR

This is a key role within a division of a significant plc group and it carries profit and cash generation responsibility for a major capital infrastructure project with a value in excess of £100 million. Reporting to the Managing Director of the division you will have P&L accountability for the project, you will be managing significant resources and delivering right first time quality on budget and to time critical deadlines. The role will involve delivering the project to full completion and as such requires an experienced senior Project Manager who is comfortable with the broader demands of the general management issues.

You are likely to be a chartered engineer who has built their career in a significant civil engineering or construction group and has a proven successful track record of delivering sizable complex fixed price/lump sum projects. You will have an intimate knowledge of best practice control systems techniques and understand first hand risk assessment, planning, scheduling, costing and commercial close out. Considerable autonomy will be offered in this role and the prospects of moving forward in this group are first class.
