Oil & Gas UK is the leading representative body for the UK Offshore Oil and Gas Industry. Its purpose is to develop and further the safe and sustainable future for the Industry, both as an important oil and gas producer and as a leading international supply chain hub.

The importance of the UKCS supply chain in delivering and creating value throughout the entire exploration to decommissioning lifecycle has resulted in a new Directorate being created within Oil & Gas UK. This significant appointment will help provide the sector with the recognition and profile it merits and will bring clarity and focus for supply chain policy to the cross industry agenda.

The Supply Chain Policy Director will provide strategic and business leadership to this area, delivering a new level of engagement and promoting its capacity and capabilities. By establishing high level relationships in contractor and supplier member companies and with government, support agencies and other stakeholders, the successful candidate will lead the forward debate, address challenges and promote the value added by this sector.

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced leader within the oil and gas industry and should be someone who can challenge conventional thinking and apply innovation and creativity to achieving industry objectives. Strong intellectual and analytical skills will be combined with a natural aptitude for encouraging and stimulating open and positive dialogue.
