London Mid Tier (LMT) business group at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Senior Associate with an interest in developing skills within the risk assurance practise, including gaining experience with ERP, and using IT systems to support financial audit opinions.

LMT is a fast growing business unit with a unique assurance division offering a broad range of services, including Audit, Risk Assurance Services and Transaction Services (TS), which are tailored to assist mid-sized and entrepreneurial clients grow and overcome the complex challenges they face. Our client base varies from FTSE listed (150 and above), AIM listed, Private companies to Private Equity and Venture Capitalist backed companies.


This role involves the following:

  • Working with a range of clients and delivering internal and external audit assignments.
  • Being part of a team that performs IT general controls and business process reviews.
  • Supporting colleagues to provide advisory services ranging from strategy, functional transformation, and internal audit effectiveness reviews.
  • Enhancing the controls environment, including developing integrated risk and control frameworks.
  • Exposure to current thinking in Corporate Governance and Risk Management.
  • Exposure to issues and solution for IT security issues.
  • Third party assurance.

  • Strong project management, analytical skills and organisational abilities.
  • Focused and initiative driven (required to maximise growth potential) with an ability to build strong relationships with clients and with PwC teams.
  • Able to work autonomously without the need for day to day direct management.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients at all levels, and good report writing skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and delivering client solutions whilst demonstrating integrity and courage to challenge the status quo.
  • Possession of strong team working skills.
  • Well developed listening and questioning techniques.
  • Sarbanes Oxley experience, SAP or Oracle experience is advantageous.
  • Experience gained in a auditing and/or consulting environment is beneficial.
  • Strong desire for continuous improvement
