The Sheppard Trust, a small charitable housing trust, provides warden-assisted sheltered housing for elderly ladies on small fixed incomes. As a Trustee you’ll ensure that the Trust is solvent, well run and delivering the charitable outcomes for which it exists. These are stimulating and rewarding roles which allow you to use your professional expertise to make a positive difference where it really counts.

There are three different Trustee roles available:

• The first requires someone with financial qualifications and experience to act as honorary treasurer, ensuring the Trust’s financial viability and that proper records are maintained.

• For the next, we’re looking for experience in the building, surveying and property fields.

• And for the third, knowledge of care of the elderly is needed.

The Executive Committee normally meets six times each year for an afternoon.
