Manufacturing Engineering Manager - circa £50,000 + package

Based: Swindon

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will manage the production engineering teams and Continuous Improvement projects to deliver improvements in manufacturing, production and engineering processes. Liaising with other departments including Quality Control, Maintenance, NPD, R&D, Purchasing, Logistics etc you will be responsible for the identification, implementation and project management of initiatives such as Lean, 5S, DMAIC etc within the production plant environment.

Our client is a world leader in the manufacture and export of precision engineered products around the world.

The successful Manufacturing Engineering Manager will hold a relevant Engineering qualification with experience of people and project management within a manufacturing organisation. Experience of CNC manufacturing and metal cutting is essential. Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement techniques, Root Cause Analysis, SPC, CAPA in an ISO 9001 environment would be beneficial as would knowledge of CAD CAM techniques.

Experience of working in a strictly regulated production system environment will be advantageous.
