President - Design & Planning (Maritime Sector, US Based)

Due to the retirement of the current incumbent, our retained client, BMT Group are seeking to appoint a President to lead the technical and managerial consultancy, BMT Designers & Planners based in Arlington, Virginia.

BMT Designers & Planners provide technical and managerial consultancy services to a variety of government agencies and commercial clients, primarily in the Maritime Business Sector. The foundation of the consultancy is supported by four pillars of excellence: Ship Design & Engineering, Advanced Technology, Environmental, and Safety. Their record of delivering high calibre design, analysis and management support services, exceeding customer expectations, defines over 50 years of client service to the Maritime Industry. With a turnover circa $20M, this is an established company providing exceptional opportunity for growth under the right leadership.

Candidates should be qualified to degree level in a technical or managerial discipline and have a strong track record in business development and management of high value consultancy, in areas relevant to the business. Excellent communication skills and business acumen are essential. Candidates must hold, or be capable of holding, Federal Government Security Clearance.
