The Company

Operating on a worldwide basis, our client is a market leader with extensive experience in the design, provision and aftermarket support of highly sophisticated, fully integrated systems to a prestigious portfolio of blue-chip end-user customers, predominantly within the corporate and leisure markets. Providing on-site operational assistance and maintenance, often for business critical systems, its Service Business plans to expand further, as part of the overall strategy and they wish to appoint a General Manager to generate additional sales revenue that delivers sustainable, profitable growth.

The Role

Reporting to the UK Managing Director you will be a key member of the senior management team, with full P&L accountability for the Service Business. You will be responsible for leading and developing a team to take advantage of significant market opportunities; building on previous successes, existing capabilities and emerging technologies, whilst promoting a culture of positive customer care.

The Requirements

This is a high-profile role calling for a charismatic, customer-focused General Manager with previous experience of running a customer service and support business or division with its own P&L. With a hands-on approach to business development combined with the intellectual capacity to manage a complex, field based technology service business, you will have excellent sales and presentation skills and thrive on leading a team committed to providing practical solutions to a demanding customer base.
