The Company

World leaders in the development and supply of control and instrumentation products to the Process Industries, our client is a rapidly growing division of a £ multi billion turnover international manufacturer of electrical products, tools and hardware whose name is synonymous with innovation, quality and service excellence. Keen to build upon their significant market share and maximise future opportunities, they are looking to appoint an experienced high calibre Product Manager.

The Role

Reporting to the Marketing Director you will have responsibility for the management of a product family to deliver targeted results for this business within a given budget working on an expanding and competitive product portfolio. You will act as a product portfolio champion and drive the business commercially and technically to develop a brand strategy to maximise revenue generation opportunities. Working with customers and the internal team to develop a product marketing roadmap and strategy, you will create and deliver value propositions for new and existing company products and work to develop a global technical support and training capability for the company’s business portfolio.

The Person

Backed by a degree in electronic engineering or equivalent, you will have proven to be a highly competent marketeer in the process automation sector and possess excellent interpersonal skills. With strong commercial and risk awareness, you will be ‘on time delivery’ focused, and be driven by the desire to succeed with strong quality and ‘value for money’ ethic. An excellent planner with entrepreneurial spirit you will have a excellent awareness of attention to detail and be competent in the use of data to produce a winning argument and differentiate against competitor products.
