Owning many of the world’s most recognised brands in their sector our client is a leading international designer, manufacturer and supplier of domestic white goods and systems. Continuing to win market share through a range of innovative, highly engineered products and systems they are seeking to appoint a high calibre and ambitious Supplier Quality Assurance Manager (SQA Manager) to improve the effectiveness and capability of product quality within an international supply base.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the UK Head of Quality Assurance and leading a dedicated Supplier Quality Assurance Team (SQA team) you will be responsible for the improvement of product quality throughout the local and international supplier base. As part of the management team you will ensure suppliers are capable of sustaining current and future product quality requirements, through the adoption of strict KPI measurements and quality assurance controlled processes. Using your proven management skill and Quality Assurance knowledge you will guide your team in all aspects of improving supplier quality performance by adopting world class quality problem solving tools. You will create an environment of supplier technical excellence based upon compliance with quality standards, and lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodology.

THE PERSON

Possessing a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering related qualification you will have gained previous experience within a world class manufacturing environment such as a Tier 1 automotive or aerospace organisation. Excellent team and project management skill combined with an in depth knowledge of improving product quality through implementation of world class quality operating systems and investigative techniques is essential.
