With significant investment in infrastructure, equipment and people, they are looking to appoint a high-calibre inventory professional to effectively manage a blue-chip customer’s stock held at their site and at vendors.

The Role

Reporting to the Logistics General Manager and with the potential to progress into a more senior position in the short or medium term, you will be one of the key points of liaison with our client’s customer’s finance operations. Maintaining stock accuracy to a level better than contracted service level agreements, you will develop existing and new inventory management processes and ensure that the precise recording and financial valuation of all stock and work-in-progress is available, wherever it is held and whenever it is required.

The Person

This is a high-profile role calling for an impactive, customer-focused stock/warehousing manager with previous experience within a fast-moving, volume-driven business. Capable of motivating and directing a team, you will have strong influencing, communication and decision making skills, an attention to detail and a passion for delivering results. A sound understanding of the financial implications of stock movements is essential together with a working knowledge of SOX requirements. Previous exposure to a multi-site or a green/brown field environment would be of particular interest.
